Hey all! I did this OOTD and another OOTD with my first DSLR but it came out grainy. I just wasn't super impressed with the Canon T3, so I switched it for the Canon EOSM. I like DSLRs and getting to learn them. It's fun, but frustrating at the same time. As I'm writing this I am on my way to my second job. I like my job(s) but I can get so tired. For this job(skating rink) I have to wear all black, and this is just one of the ways I try and make all black as fashionable as possible.

Anyway, completely unrelated, do you guys have book recommendations? I literally like all types of books, usually more fiction than nonfiction but I enjoy those as well. I love YA books but I also love steamy romance novels and murder mysteries? Anyone care to help out? What kind of books do you guys enjoy?

The Other Side

Two crop top posts in a row, what can I say? I love them. So effortless and easy. Today's a super slow house chore day but I'm looking forward to writing some blog posts and doing laundry so that I can shoot more blog posts! My photographer(bf) is a working man now and it's hard to get photos shot. Also in the summer I wear fitness clothes and my work shirt to work every day so there's not much to take pictures of. I'm working on figuring out how that's gonna work. There may be less outfit posts and more beauty, but we'll see. I'm getting a new blog layout soon which is beyond exciting! I love blog designs and I'm currently hating mine. Just don't be startled if you see anything strange on tht blog, I'm not the greatest at HTML so I expect bumps on the journey. Oh and I can follow blogs via GFC again. I couldn't do it for days. That was a bit annoying. How was everyone's weekend? I saw my pups and cat at home, went out with some friends and had cuddle time with the boy! All in all a good time! Hope yours was good as well. Lots of love. ♥

Ugh, my hair. It was foggy, my hair puffed up immediately. Oi vey. I'm trying a new style of outfit posting. Not much of a change but its a little different. I wore this to go to the recruiters with the boy, and then the mall. I've never mentioned this on the blog, but I'm a former(about to be current) military girlfriend. Me and Clint started dating in 2008 while he was an active duty Marine, so the first bit of our relationship was long distance. 4+ years later we're still together and he has decided to re-enter the military through The National Guard. I'm excited because this is a new big step for him. Also he's only gone one weekend a month! Unless he deploys of course. Are you guys interested in what it's like to be a military girlfriend, or having long distance relationships? Let me know!

Quick little haul from Forever21! The shirt was the only full priced item. The sale was amazing this year, especially on the shoe front. The place was full of shoes! Not all my size, but I plan to hit up a few more Forever21 stores before the sale is over. I would love to find more ankle boots. These gray ones are going to look cute with everything, I'm so excited. I've already worn the wedges to a Pre-Oscar party and they were a bitch to break in, but too cute to be upset about. I wore this on a trip to Palisades Mall with the boy. Going to the mall, that one more particularly, is one of our favorite things to do. Food, shopping and a movie theater all in one place. And if you've never been, the mall is massive! Hope everyone is well!
