Old Fashioned Vanilla

All I want is to wear a dress with no tights. Is that so much to ask for? I think not. I love this high low dress combined with the leather jacket, and although it looks fine with tights and boots I long for flats and bare legs. I'm currenty sitting back enjoying this Friday night(God only knows when this will get posted) watching Desperate Housewives, reading my favorite blogs, and wishing I had some vanilla ice cream. It's so sad, every time I hear the word vanilla I think of 50 Shades of Grey. Raunchy, I know. The writing in those books are terrible, but the content is so good. I will not be ashamed. I always appreciate the weekend but this one is extra special. It starts the beginning of a week and a half off from work. Whoopdie-do! Ugh, my hair. It was foggy, my hair puffed up immediately. Oi vey. I'm trying a new style of outfit posting. Not much of a change but its a little different. I wore this to go to the recruiters with the boy, and then the mall. I've never mentioned this on the blog, but I'm a former(about to be current) military girlfriend. Me and Clint started dating in 2008 while he was an active duty Marine, so the first bit of our relationship was long distance. 4+ years later we're still together and he has decided to re-enter the military through The National Guard. I'm excited because this is a new big step for him. Also he's only gone one weekend a month! Unless he deploys of course. I wore this on a trip to Palisades Mall with the boy. Going to the mall, that one more particularly, is one of our favorite things to do. Food, shopping and a movie theater all in one place. And if you've never been, the mall is massive! Hope everyone is well!
