I adore a good red nail. I don't know why but it makes me feel sexy. Now I know we're dead in the middle of May and a blood red color is not exactly "in", but who follows rules nowadays? A List is so freaking pretty and makes me feel put together even if I look like crap. It's a cream finish, but honestly that's nothing new as creams are my favorite. I cant be bothered with subtle shimmer. It's full on glitter or cream for me! I prefer it to brighter reds mainly because to me this is a classic color and looks great no matter what you're wearing. It isn't too blue, or too brown toned, which I can sometimes hate in red polishes. It's always my pick when I don't know what polish to choose.

Do you guys have a color you wear all year long?

Good Advice

Are you the type of person who gives amazing advice, but can't take your own? Yupp, that's me. it's hard to be in a situation in which you're so unsure, and you know what you can do to change it, but you just don't. It sucks but I'm working on it. I want to be more impulsive(within reason) and do things that make me happy. That's my goal from today on out!!

How do you guys work through tough decisions? What are your current goals?

Floppy Hats

I'm currently OBSESSED with floppy hats. They're so freaking stylish and great for my so-so hair days. I want to wear them for Governor's Ball but I don't know if my head will sweat to death or not. So many people wore them to Coachella and I heard it was sweltering there! Anyone go to music festivals and know if this would be okay?

Governor's Ball is in 17 DAYS! So freaking excited, especially to see a The 1975!

Essie 'Come Here!'

Essie Come Here!

I love pink/coral/red-orange nails, and I buy plenty of polishes in that family, but for some reason I almost never wear them. I always stick to blues, purples and neutrals.

Come Here!, which was part of the Resort Collection from 2013 is gorgeous and brings so much attention to my nails. It's a perfect spring and summer polish and will be beautiful with a deep tan. Excited to wear it again in a couple of months!!

Hey all! I did this OOTD and another OOTD with my first DSLR but it came out grainy. I just wasn't super impressed with the Canon T3, so I switched it for the Canon EOSM. I like DSLRs and getting to learn them. It's fun, but frustrating at the same time. As I'm writing this I am on my way to my second job. I like my job(s) but I can get so tired. For this job(skating rink) I have to wear all black, and this is just one of the ways I try and make all black as fashionable as possible.

Anyway, completely unrelated, do you guys have book recommendations? I literally like all types of books, usually more fiction than nonfiction but I enjoy those as well. I love YA books but I also love steamy romance novels and murder mysteries? Anyone care to help out? What kind of books do you guys enjoy?

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream: The Multitask Hero

8 hour cream has been talked about for years and years and I've always bypassed it thinking, I don't see the point, it looks like Vaseline. But baby, oh baby, it is not. I have the original formula, which I know a lot of people hate because it stinks, but I've become quite desensitized to the smell. So, what do I use this baby for? Literally everything. I use it for eczema, dry hands and peeling cuticles, my sore cracked nose when I'm sick, unruly eyebrows, and chapped lips. I even use this on the back of my ankles in uncomfortable shoes. In the winter, this is literally the only thing that works against my horribly chapped lips and I use it every night before bed. My bf recently had horribly sunburned lips and he reluctantly(can't stand the smell) put this on and his lips were healed overnight. It's magic, I tell you. It also lasts forever! Erica bought it for me for my birthday in May and my tube is still going! I will have to repurchase soon though.
