Sephora F&F and VIB Sale: Haul and Mini Reviews

Hey guys! Sephora just had their sale period and I had to buy some things! I made an online order for some online only products for the Friend and Family sale which was 20% off your entire order. I was lucky enough(and by lucky I mean I finally spent enough money) to make VIB status with that order, which basically means I spent $350 in a calendar year. Piece of cake for me seeing as I am a skincare junkie. Thennn the VIB sale came around which was ANOTHER 20% off your entire purchase so I picked up a few more things. Mostly skincare. Here's the haul!

The Skincare:
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads: Glycolic and Lactic Acid pads used to exfoliate, tone and brighten. I don't know if they're record breaking so far, but I like them.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: Used it twice so far, and I love it. Makes my face super soft and this pesky eczema patches go away overnight.
Anthony Logistics for Men Glycolic Facial Cleanser: I got this little one as one of my 100 point perks when I did my F&F order and I loved it so much that I bought the full size one when VIB started. This comes highly recommended by Caroline Hirons so I was super excited to use it!
Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser: Another great 100 point perk as I've heard people rave about it. Haven't used it yet, I have other exfoliaters that I'm trying to finish first.
Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm: Another Caroline Hirons rec that I had already fell in love with, but her rec solidified this purchase. I've went through 5 samples of this before deciding that it is a must have. Currently waiting to use this until I finish my samples of the REN Purity No. 1 Cleansing Balm which is okay, but doesn't compare to the Clinique!

The Makeup:
Tarte "Power Couple": Contains Dollface blush and Park Avenue Princess bronzer. Been using this almost exclusively since my F&F order came in, it's a perfect pairing and Dollface is a great blush for a red lip day, which has been almost everyday these days.
Stila "Holiday Essentials" Kit: Stay All Day liner in black, Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Beso, both staples so I decided to get this as a backup. This also has a mini Kitten eyeshadow which I haven't had in my collection since I restarted it. I currently don't wear eyeshadow but it's nice to have if I decide to as it was one of my favorites.
Hourglass The Iconic Red lipstick mini: a bit of a silly purchase as this tiny thing was $10, but I have so many reds, I wanted to have a sample just to see if the expensive full size is worth it! Sephora actually isn't selling the full size of Icon yet, although they have a bunch of other pretty colors!

The Fragrances:
Sephora Fragrance Sampler, Rollerball Edition: I get these every year. Last year I was introduced/ fell in love with Diesel Loverdose through these so I thought it was essential this year. Basically you get 5 samples to try and a certificate to go into sephora and get one of the rollerball in the scent you choose from those samples. I'm probably going to just get the Flowerbomb rollerball this year as none of the others wow'd me, but I'm definitely looking into getting some of the bigger samplers as well, which redeem for full size perfumes.
Coach "Poppy" mini: I got this as a 250 point perk. Haven't tried it yet, I'm thinking of adding it to a giveaway later one this month/early In December.
I also got some more samples on skincare and fragrances when I made my F&F purchase.
Looks like a small haul but I really didn't need much, and I also got some things as gifts that I don't want Erica to see! What have you guys purchased recently?

Drugstore Beauty Haul

I love drugstore shopping. Give me a few spare minutes and a few extra dollars and I'll find something to buy. Seriously. Lately I've been running in and out of the drugstore to pick up a few things here. I found these Satina Brushes at Rite Aid in a set for $10 and have been testing them out! I really love the powder brush for contouring! There's a blending sponge in it as well that I'm excited to try. I've owned the Wet n' Wild blush in 'Heather Silk' 4 or 5 times, but these things break so damn easily that I've never actually finished one! However I continue to repurchase because its a damn good hot pink blush. It's SUPER pigmented(fair skinned ladies approach slowly) and buttery smooth!

Revlon was having a buy one get one 50% deal so I decided to finally buy my first liquid foundation. Yeah I said it. My first. I chose Nearly Naked because I've heard it's light and Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms after days and days of searching for it and picked up both colors I wanted, Sultry and Standout. I'm going to be putting up a review soon! I also found the Erica bought it and it looked great on her. I found the new Colorburst Lacquer Balms and I don't know why but those were always fully stocked and neglected. I don't know if everyone else is like me and prefers a matte lip, or if the fall is a bad time to market a lacquer balm but they aren't doing nearly as well as the matte balms. From Target I got the Elf "Golden Bronzer" that is most definitely a highlighter, and a great one at that. I also got the clear brow gel that's now neglected because I found something better! It's a great brow gel though. I picked up some Jordana things, two brown eyeliners to tightline and use under my bottom lashline and one of my holy grail mascara, the Best Lash Extreme. Lastly, one of my favorite purchases was the perfect blue toned red fro my skintone, Maybelline's Color Sensational Lipstick in Red Revival. It's amazing and leaves a satin finish that turns more matte over time.

My 23rd!

If you didn't know, both me and my Erica turned twenty three on the 22nd! I wasn't super excited about this birthday, you know the whole getting old syndrome but the day got better as it went on! I went to work, I know some people skip work on their birthday but I don't see the point. The staff sang to me and the kids were total sweethearts, I even got some cards from them!

I then went to dinner with Erica and our boyfriends in midtown at Benihana, a famous hibachi restaurant, which was delicious as always!

Erica and I also swapped presents this year for the first time ever(I know...weird) and it was so much fun! We've been gathering gifts for so long, and it was all a surprise so opening our gifts was almost like a swap! Here's what I got from Erica!:





I'm so excited to try the Tarte blush(in the shade exposed), the Eight Hour Cream and the Out of Trouble Mask, and the fashion items were perfect! The pants are from H&M and the bag is from Zara! I also was very curious about the deodorant and spoke to Erica about it a couple of days ago, so that surprised me! The biggest surprise was at Erica bought me a domain! Soon I will be www.trinawears.com! I just have to figure out how to use it! Haha.
It was very humid and I had to work so I wore something very casual!

Quick little haul from Forever21! The shirt was the only full priced item. The sale was amazing this year, especially on the shoe front. The place was full of shoes! Not all my size, but I plan to hit up a few more Forever21 stores before the sale is over. I would love to find more ankle boots. These gray ones are going to look cute with everything, I'm so excited. I've already worn the wedges to a Pre-Oscar party and they were a bitch to break in, but too cute to be upset about. Collective Haul: Steals and Deals

Hi guys! This is a collective haul of the past two weeks or so. I've scored some great deals and I wanted to show you! I'll link things if I can, and I'll tell you how cheap I got the things!

Floral Blazer. On sale for $16, but I got it half off that in store!!


All Cotton On except for the beige and pink pants, and the leather look leggings. All the Cotton On clothing were 40% for Presidents Day. The pink pants I found at Target on sale for $11.98, and the beige pants were from H&M, and were only $17 after my 20% coupon I received in an email. Those leather look leggings were the only full priced item, at $13, from Necessary Clothing.

I know what you're thinking, why did I buy 3? Am I some crazy eBay lady looking for a payday? Nope, I just love this moisturizer and eye gel. These were half off, so I got each for $14. That moisturizer sold separately is $20. This was a total win, I love Christmas set leftovers!! And one is for my twin, she loves this stuff too. I'm not that crazy of a hoarder.

Lastly, some drugstore goodies. This Wet N Wild mascara is amazing for layering, and was 75% off! I bought two, they were $0.74 each! Rite Aid was also running a 40% off Wet N Wild sale, so I picked up a lipstick. It doesn't suit my skin color, so I'll pawn it off to a friend. The Revlon stuff was buy one get one 50% off, perfect time to try out that Nearly Naked Powder and new Colorstay concealer. And the chocolates? Well, Valentine's Day had passed so they were half off, and then one of the packages had a buy two save a dollar coupon, so I had to buy two. I just had to. I loveeee dark chocolate!

Spring Shoe Haul

Metallic D'Orsay Flats | Metallic T-Strap Flats | Metallic Trim Suede Flats

I love shoes in any season, but especially in the spring and summer. They're so lightweight and airy and free. And cute!! Forever21 has got the hot shit right now, and I got the "OMG if I don't buy it now it will be gone and I would have missed out on beautiful shoes" anxiety type feeling. So I bought them. But not all of them. Just three, I'm not ballin. I bought two that I could wear a lot and were very versatile, and the metallic d'orsay ones look fun, and I know it will challenge me to find ways to style it. I'm so excited about warmer weather!
