Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream: The Multitask Hero

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Review
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Review
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream $19.50

8 hour cream has been talked about for years and years and I've always bypassed it thinking, I don't see the point, it looks like Vaseline. But baby, oh baby, it is not. I have the original formula, which I know a lot of people hate because it stinks, but I've become quite desensitized to the smell. So, what do I use this baby for? Literally everything. I use it for eczema, dry hands and peeling cuticles, my sore cracked nose when I'm sick, unruly eyebrows, and chapped lips. I even use this on the back of my ankles in uncomfortable shoes. In the winter, this is literally the only thing that works against my horribly chapped lips and I use it every night before bed. My bf recently had horribly sunburned lips and he reluctantly(can't stand the smell) put this on and his lips were healed overnight. It's magic, I tell you. It also lasts forever! Erica bought it for me for my birthday in May and my tube is still going! I will have to repurchase soon though.
What's your standout multitask product?

Birchbloggers Event!

Birchbox Local Create Your Own Birchbox
Birchbox Local Create Your Own Birchbox

This post is so long overdue but I couldn't get a hold of the photos! Boo! Anyway, back in September during NYFW I went to the first ever Birchbloggers Event at Birchbox's Birchbox Local Pop Up Store in Chelsea Market. There were cupcakes galore, hair and makeup booths from Dr.Brandt, Stila and Drybar and a guest panel featuring Jean Godfrey June(JJ) of Lucky Magazine!! It was so awesome to hear about blogging from THE beauty blogger!! But honestly, the most exciting part was getting a complimentary 'Create Your Own" Birchbox experience. I picked the Marcelle Makeup Remover, Benefit Gimmie Brow in Med/Dark, Inika Highlighter, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso and DDF Protective Eye Cream. As you can see in the first photo there were so many samples to choose from! Thank you so much to Rachel from Birchbox for making this experience possible! ♥

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

Picture of Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb
Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb, $75.00 USD, Sephora Stores

This perfume is perfection. Quite expensive, but perfection nonetheless. I've been wearing Flowerbomb for a bit over two years now and I will never go back. I absolutely do not want to be without it, even though I dont always wear it daily. I have a Travalo in my purse that is always filled with this beauty. I'm not the best at describing scents but I smell Jasmine, as it is a very floral scent, Flowerbomb, duhhh. What I love about it is that it's ridiculously girly, and at the same time so mature. I'm actually glad it's overpriced because it makes others hesitant to buy it. It's my scent, and I'm bad at sharing.
I'm contemplating trying a new perfume and saving Flowerbomb for special occasions. $75.00 for 1ML is bit much for my poor pockets. I've bought Diesel's Loverdose in rollerball form which is very fruity and unlike me, but I'm liking the occasional change of pace.

Do you guys have any recommendations for new perfumes? What are your favorites? ♥

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed Review
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed Review
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in "Exposed" $25.00

I've been wearing makeup regularly since I was 17, and my favorite makeup items to buy are blushes, hands down. I've been eyeing this baby for quite some time, but never bit the bullet. Exposed on my olive skin tone is a very natural everyday color that gives me the perfect flush and goes with every lip color and every eyeshadow. I don't know what took me so long to get this. Erica bought it for me for my birthday and it is my favorite gift of all (even more than my Zara bag). In terms of formulation it's quite pigmented, the texture is so buttery soft, making it a bit powdery, but not anywhere near as powdery as some blushes. When I use a stippling brush I find it's more powdery, but a standard blush brush can pick up more color than you need. The finish is almost matte and doesnt look at all powdery on the skin as some matte blushes can do. It claims 12 hours, and while it doesn't quite fit the claim, it definitely lasts an 8 hour work day on me! I'm glad I finally have this in my possession and I'm excited to try some more, I can't wait until Christmas when Sephora has the mini blush sets!! Have you guys tried Tarte? Would you UK girls be interested in a Tarte related giveaway sometime soon? ♥

Collective Haul: Steals and Deals

Hi guys! This is a collective haul of the past two weeks or so. I've scored some great deals and I wanted to show you! I'll link things if I can, and I'll tell you how cheap I got the things!
Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos
Floral Blazer. On sale for $16, but I got it half off that in store!!

All Cotton On except for the beige and pink pants, and the leather look leggings. All the Cotton On clothing were 40% for Presidents Day. The pink pants I found at Target on sale for $11.98, and the beige pants were from H&M, and were only $17 after my 20% coupon I received in an email. Those leather look leggings were the only full priced item, at $13, from Necessary Clothing.

I know what you're thinking, why did I buy 3? Am I some crazy eBay lady looking for a payday? Nope, I just love this moisturizer and eye gel. These were half off, so I got each for $14. That moisturizer sold separately is $20. This was a total win, I love Christmas set leftovers!! And one is for my twin, she loves this stuff too. I'm not that crazy of a hoarder.

Lastly, some drugstore goodies. This Wet N Wild mascara is amazing for layering, and was 75% off! I bought two, they were $0.74 each! Rite Aid was also running a 40% off Wet N Wild sale, so I picked up a lipstick. It doesn't suit my skin color, so I'll pawn it off to a friend. The Revlon stuff was buy one get one 50% off, perfect time to try out that Nearly Naked Powder and new Colorstay concealer. And the chocolates? Well, Valentine's Day had passed so they were half off, and then one of the packages had a buy two save a dollar coupon, so I had to buy two. I just had to. I loveeee dark chocolate!

Long haul post I know, but I wanted to share my deals. Until next time!
