Music Mondays #17: Current Favorites 5.27.13

Well helllooooo guys! Happy Memorial Day if you guys celebrate it! If you didn't know, my boyfriend is a currently serving in the National Guard and has also served in the Marine Corps, so I want to thank him and everyone else who has served for defending our country and being braver than most. We're not doing much today, just kicking back and enjoying the day off! Not much to say about today's music favorites except, well, they're my favorite! I'm back on a full indie kick which is fine by me! :)

Hey guys! Here with another music post! Sorry about last week, I just wasn't having a great music week so I skipped it! I'm working on never skipping it again though. Lol. All time favorites are so hard. Honestly, that's why I like splitting favorites into decades and genres, it keeps me from deciding. These favorites may not be my 15 if you ask me a month from now, but they'd definitely be in my top 50. Music evolves and so do favorites. One day I'll do a favorites list that isn't limited to a certain number, and will include some hip hop, but honestly today, I'm just too sleepy.

My boyfriend was a dear soul and gave me his iPod to use because he has the iPhone 5 now, and has moved his music there. However, my original source for all my music is no longer there(my sisters computer got wiped clean) so I've been taking baby steps to download all of this music for the iPod. That being said, I've been living out of two music devices until all of my iPhone music is on my iPod. Its given me a chance to remember what music I have and how much I love it. Most of these songs are in the first batch of music thats been transferred, and the first four are new to my collection.

Music Mondays #1: Current Faves - Jan 29

Okay so technically its Tuesday, but oh wells! I wanted to try something new, because as I have began to LOVE my blog and enjoy blogging regularly, I should start incorporating things I love that aren't just beauty and fashion, because people are more than exteriors. Take me for example. I love Harry Potter, reading, food, fitness and music. I've loved music since I was 9 years old. I love every kind of music, except for maybe gospel and extra country, country music. So I figured I would start making posts about my favorite music.

So my plan is to post my top ten songs of the week, but as that is not always an option, I plan to fill my "off weeks" with "top music" posts, like top 10 of a decade, or year, or genre. I hope you guys like it! I would love to number it in order of most favorite to least favorite of my favorites, but I foresee myself getting stuck and frustrated at choosing. So I've decided I'm going to number my top 3 in order and all those after will be in no particular order. Hope you guys enjoy!
