Music Mondays #13: Current Favorites 4.22.13

Hey guys! Another Monday, another music post! This one is very one genre specific, but that is mainly because due to me having a music rut in the midst of my music transferring from one device to another. I've been on Pandora discovering new songs and remembering old ones. All of these have popped up on my current favorite station, The Lumineers Radio. One day I'll do a post on my favorite Pandora stations, but until then here are some favorite songs of right now. Almost none of them are current but they're great! I'm also loving remixes of these songs, especially the Alex Metric Remix of Lisztomania.

Music Mondays #7: Current Faves - Mar 11

I know I haven't done a current favorites in like a month. But I've been in a big music rut. I haven't liked most of the typical 'top 40' music lately, which is fine. I love what I already have. I just have the quest to find more. I have however found some songs I've really been liking, plus some I've really been listening to lately that I have been in my iTunes forever. Next current faves will be better. I've been scanning through pandora and I found out that The Cab has a new album. I'm going to go through my favorite bands and see if they've put out new albums as well. Won't promise that will be next week though! I swear. Mondays have come faster and faster since I started Music Mondays! No bother here though, it's definitely my second favorite posts next to ootds.

As usual, no central theme, I listen to everything and (almost) anything. I really did love Ingrid Michaelson's most recent album though, I think it's called Human. I tend to pretty much forget artists exist. But when I'm reminded, it's like a whole new adventure! I'm getting an iPod soon, because my music doesn't all fit on my phone. I'm torn on which iPod to get though, a nano, which is compact and great for the gym or a classic, where ill never have to worry about space.

Music Mondays #1: Current Faves - Jan 29

Okay so technically its Tuesday, but oh wells! I wanted to try something new, because as I have began to LOVE my blog and enjoy blogging regularly, I should start incorporating things I love that aren't just beauty and fashion, because people are more than exteriors. Take me for example. I love Harry Potter, reading, food, fitness and music. I've loved music since I was 9 years old. I love every kind of music, except for maybe gospel and extra country, country music. So I figured I would start making posts about my favorite music.

So my plan is to post my top ten songs of the week, but as that is not always an option, I plan to fill my "off weeks" with "top music" posts, like top 10 of a decade, or year, or genre. I hope you guys like it! I would love to number it in order of most favorite to least favorite of my favorites, but I foresee myself getting stuck and frustrated at choosing. So I've decided I'm going to number my top 3 in order and all those after will be in no particular order. Hope you guys enjoy!
