Starting off December with music post!! It's been so long since I've posted one, but I've literally been listening to Lorde and The Neighbourhood in a playlist on repeat for days(weeks). The Neighbourhood's album is SO damn good I can't even. I'm trying to branch out more but it's hard! I'm in a rut. I find something, I love it and I can't let it go. It's that serious.

Music Mondays #25: Let's Hear It for the Girls!

I don't know why but I prefer male voices when it comes to music. 95% of my music are male artists or male lead singers of bands. I've never been big on most female empowerment/peppy girl songs(is that weird?) and I generally despise anything in the Beyonce realm of music. I know this post will now have people giving me the side eye since she is apparently the "queen", but I've never like Beyonce. However there are some songs that are emotional and powerful and some are just classics that I love!! There are definitely more but here are some of my favorites!

Music Mondays #23: Current Favorites 8.26.13

I feel like this is the post of songs that Trina didn't know about until right now. I'm pretty sure majority if them are nowhere near current but they're all so great. I knew the Ron Pope song but I heard it again recently and it popped back on my recent faves. I recently watched In The Flesh on BBC America and I loved it! The soundtrack was very good as well. I'm a definite new fan of Keaton Henson!

Music Mondays #19: Current Favorites 6.24.13

Hey guys! Long time no music post! BUT I actually have a bunch of songs that I'm loving. Yay! I finally got my hands on Demi Lovato's album, which is spectacular. I never reviewed Paramore's or Kid Cudi's albums, because I didn't want to write a negative review when I do like some songs. So, the songs that I've posted on these favorites, are the few ones that I have liked from the albums! My 8 year old self would be proud of me today, some of these songs are very mainstream. Oh, and about that French Montana song, I have absolutely no excuse for it. It's just super catchy!

Well helllooooo guys! Happy Memorial Day if you guys celebrate it! If you didn't know, my boyfriend is a currently serving in the National Guard and has also served in the Marine Corps, so I want to thank him and everyone else who has served for defending our country and being braver than most. We're not doing much today, just kicking back and enjoying the day off! Not much to say about today's music favorites except, well, they're my favorite! I'm back on a full indie kick which is fine by me! :)

All time favorites are so hard. Honestly, that's why I like splitting favorites into decades and genres, it keeps me from deciding. These favorites may not be my 15 if you ask me a month from now, but they'd definitely be in my top 50. Music evolves and so do favorites. One day I'll do a favorites list that isn't limited to a certain number, and will include some hip hop, but honestly today, I'm just too sleepy.
