Hey guys! After doing a long month of analyzing my Google Analytics I realized that most of my readers are from countries other than the US. I figure since so many of you do visit or want to visit NYC, I would post about locations that aren't as well known. Today I chose Marcus Garvey Park. Marcus Garvey Park is just a few blocks away from where I work and is absolutely stunning in the spring and summer. The park houses two huge great lawns, the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater and nature paths to walk up that lead to a watchtower and a spectacular view of the city. Harlem may not be the prettiest place, but it has some gems. This park comes alive in the summer with children and music and summer concerts and plays. Its beautiful. And just like every other NYC park, you should avoid it at night! I'm sad to say none of our parks are safe for nighttime strolls. Lol. This was a quick one because I was actually working when these pictures were taken(naughty me). If there's anywhere else you'd like to see, let me know. I'm thinking about doing restaurants, thrift stores and places for entertainment! ♥
