Argan Hand Healers
Josie Maran is a widely popular brand and although I've been interested in trying the straight up argan oil, I just never had. So when I saw this set at Sephora over Christmas time for $10 I snatched it up, thinking, hey why not. This set comes with a hand lotion(or cream, so fancy) and nail polish/nail treatment wipes. I've been using these off and on since February-ish and I finally think I have my opinions set. The Whipped Argan Oil intensive Hand Cream is nice, and the vanilla apricot scent is amazing, but it isn't anything to write home about. It kept my hand moisturized in the brutal New York cold, but it took a good amount of product to do so, just as every other hand cream I've ever had has. If I could find this in the travel section of Sephora for under $10, I'd repurchase, more for the scent than anything else. I don't think it's worth more though.
Now the BearNaked Nail Wipes, I wanted to love these. And while I don't hate them, they just don't do the trick. One wipe can remove polish off of 4-5 nails. But it take so damn long. I'm an acetone girl through and through so scrubbing at my hands for 5 minutes to remove polish off of 4 nails is ridiculous to me. These are supposed to be convenient, but they're more a bother. The scent is pleasant doesn't smell like grapefruit as it suggests, but it doesn't smell like polish remover at all, so I like it for discreetly removing my polish in public. In terms of it being a nail treatment, it does make my cuticles soft, which I like. I wouldn't repurchase these,a s drugstores have on the go wipes that work way better, but these are nice to have.
What do you guys think of Josie Maran products? Is there anything that's a must buy?
