Everyday Makeup

I'm very fuss free when it comes to my makeup. I skip makeup 2-4 days a week and often skips steps like foundation and primer. I like to look slightly more polished, and then finish it up with a bold lip on most days!



The Base:
Collection Concealer and Revlon Nearly Naked Powder: I don't really care to use foundation to cover up the imperfections on my face. Unpopular opinion, but I think acne covered up looks more disgusting then the red spots themselves. But then again I don't have cystic acne so its not for me to say I guess. Anyways, I just conceal under my eyes and then powder my whole face. The Nearly Naked Powder is enough of a light coverage for me to feel spruced up! This one looks busted as hell but I've already bought a backup, just waiting to finish this one up!

The Cheeks:
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, ELF Golden Bronzer and Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in "Exposed": I adore matte cheeks and both of these fit the bill. The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer gives me the perfect contoured sunkissed look without being too heavy. I already spoke about this blush in my favorite blushes post but it really is the best everyday bronzer and it looks awesome. ELF's Golden Bronzer is not a bronzer at all on my olive skin tone but it is the prettiest highlighter, I use it in the inner corners of my eyes as well.

The Lips:
Wet n Wild Lipstick in Spiked with Rum and MAC Lipstick in Diva: Spiked With Rum is the best pinky brown everyday shade that I have found for my skintone. I wear this when I don't want to worry about bold lips or when bold lips aren't appropriate(in my eyes they always are, but you know the deal). Diva is my current favorite dark lip but it's probably because it's my newest. I'll do a video on all my favorite fall/winter lip colors soon.

The Eyes(and Brows):
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner, Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Benefit Gimmie Brow: I rotate mascaras and try new ones all the time. Anytime there is a mascara point perk at Sephora I usually grab it, just so I can say I've tried it. Better Than Sex is not my absolute favorite but I don't hate it at all. There are better cheaper ones though, so I probably wouldn't repurchase after I use this sample up. The Stila Liner is my absolute holy grail liner. I know a lot of people have complained about theirs drying out but I purchased mine in early august and it is still going strong. I do already have a backup though. I'd hate to be without it. Before Gimmie Brow, I had given up on caring about my brows. A couple weeks before I got it I had been experimenting with powder and pencil and I hate both. My brows are just unruly and slightly sparse. I don't like brows that don't look natural. Gimmie Brow tackles all my needs in one. It's a tinted brow gel that also volumizes! I usually use two coats but my brows are never crispy and they look beautifully natural. The price is absolutely ridiculous but until I find an alternative, I am a slave. No turning back now!

After typing this it seems like so much but it really literally takes me about 3 minutes to do my face and I do my eyeliner/mascara on the train to work usually which takes me 2 minutes tops. What are your everyday makeup staples?? ♥
