Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms in Sultry and Standout
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms: Sultry(top) and Standout(bottom)
Oh gosh. I have not lusted over a lip product in quite some time. Until now. When I first heard about the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms from Ashley I knew they had to be mine. The search for these suckers were real. By time I found them I knew exactly what two I wanted, basically the only two that would flatter my skin tone. Sultry, a mauvy pink and Standout, a classic blue toned red. I don't need another red but hey, I needed another red.
They are super creamy and they don't sit in the fine lines of your lips like some(cough, L'oreal LeMattes) lip things do. It isn't marketed as a stain but Standout does stain your lips after a couple of hours. They really are balmy texture and they never fully dry to your lips, so you do have to reapply every so often(with food: 2 hours, without: 4 hours). However when you do reapply, it reapplies really smoothly. They smell like mint which I love and they are super pigmented.
Swatches! Standout(top) and Sultry (bottom).
They retail for $8.99 but I picked them up on a buy 1 get 1 50% off deal so they were about $7 each. On the displays they don't say limited edition, but people keep speculating that they are. I sure hope not because then I have to find backups. They are that good.
Have you guys found any of these yet? What did you think? Do you want a Revlon Matte Balm vs. L'oreal LeMatte post??

I haven't tried either - usually I stick to L'Oreal as I find it really reliable as a brand but I love the top (standout) swatch here so I may have to give revlon a try :) thanks for the cute post!
