I love me a good handbag. But, as much as I'd love a $700 purse, I definitely don't have the cash for that. So here are a few of my budget friendly handbags! Of my favorite include the office city bag, but the size gives me reservations about everyday handbag use. My next purchase will most likely be the scalloped bag, I think it's perfect for spring and super affordable! Also, i always put my travel money in a separate coin purse, this Cath Kitson is right up my alley! I've been struggling finding places that make great affordable handbags. I'd love any suggestions you have!

BTW, Happy Easter! Hope you guys enjoy whatever it is you're doing today. The boy and I are relaxing at home and waiting for the The Walking Dead season finale and the Game of Thrones season premiere!

Old Fashioned Vanilla

All I want is to wear a dress with no tights. Is that so much to ask for? I think not. I love this high low dress combined with the leather jacket, and although it looks fine with tights and boots I long for flats and bare legs. I'm currenty sitting back enjoying this Friday night(God only knows when this will get posted) watching Desperate Housewives, reading my favorite blogs, and wishing I had some vanilla ice cream. It's so sad, every time I hear the word vanilla I think of 50 Shades of Grey. Raunchy, I know. The writing in those books are terrible, but the content is so good. I will not be ashamed. I always appreciate the weekend but this one is extra special. It starts the beginning of a week and a half off from work. Whoopdie-do! Hey guys! I wore this for a gloomy day at work and a trip to Target with the boy! I love the floral blazer that I bought in my haul. I received a ton of compliments. As I'm writing this, I'm laying with the boy watching Parenthood. We stumbled across it on Netflix and I've heard some great things about it, so we started it and are loving it. We're currently on the last available season, which is season 3. We plowed through these seasons in 3 days. It's really interesting! I wish I could have spent all day watching it, but I had a meeting on my day off, so half my day was gone. By time you read this, there may or may not be a week or so that has passed. I don't always post my outfit posts right after I take them, because I don't write them until days later. I'm almost playing catch up! Plus at times I have other things I want to post so I like to space my outfits even more. Hope everyone's day is great!

Music Mondays #9: Current Faves 3.25.13 and Goodbye MCR

This weekend we received word that My Chemical Romance was splitting. So sad, as they were one of my favorite bands in my teenage years and still present in my iTunes library now. I won't go on and on but it sucks to see them go, and if you haven't heard any of their music, I suggest you go off and listen to them. They're awesome.

At any rate, it looks like I may not always be able to keep up with 10 song post, but I will try my hardest!

Wishlist #7: Tarte

I haven't been spending much money on makeup, as my obsession has faded into practically nothingness, but there's been a few products that have caught my eye from the brand Tarte. I've heard that Tarte is almost impossible to get outside of North America, so I figured I'd make you guys a bit jealous.

Tarte BB Cream:Fun fact about me, well two facts - I've never worn foundation. I've also never tried a BB cream. I'll wait for gasps to subside. I wear concealer under my eye and powder. But never foundation. Idk. They just scare the crap out of me. It's like once I start I think I'll become addicted. However I've heard great things about Tarte's BB cream and I am very curious to try, just to even out my skin tone. Perhaps I'll get sucked into an amazing world of foundation type things.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed: I love blush, and as much as I love my brights, I always go back to my neutral. Exposed is the perfect natural flush shade that looks amazing on all skin tones. Of all these three, I think this will be purchased first, and very very soon at that.

Tarte Lipsurgence in Exposed: I'm not a big lip person, but I'm trying, and the easiest way to get me to put on lip color is a stain. I love that they stay put, it's comforting knowing that I don't have to worry about it moving around. Exposed, like its blush counterpart is the perfect "nude" lip for us less fair skinned folk and those who can't pull of beige nudes. I would have bought it already, but I'm finding it harder to spend money on makeup than I used to. I'd much rather buy clothes.

Review: Origins Night-A-Mins

As I'm writing this, I am wearing the last little bit of my Origins Night-A-Mins. I finished every last drop. I'm really big on finishing products before I start new ones, but this was bittersweet. I didn't want to let it go. Origins Night-A-Mins is one of the best skincare products I've tried so far. I just started my skin experimentation in November, so my time spent in the luxury skincare realm has been short. Night-A-Mins is a rich night cream that is meant to slosh off dead skin cells whole you sleep and leaving you with bright replenished skin in the morning. And it does just that. I wake up with skin so soft and supple. It never let's me down. After a long night of drinking, Night-A-Mins refreshes you and leaves your face looking un-hungover, despite how you may feel. It is not greasy and sinks into the skin very quickly, but leaves your face feeling moisturized all night. I am very curious to try the oil free version, as I am combination skinned. Night-A-Mins hasn't added to acne for me despite the oil, so it gets the seal of approval in my book. I've just purchased Make a Difference+ Rejuvenating Moisturizer from Origins to try something new, so the oil free is next on my list to try! If you're thinking about getting Night-A-Mins, do it! It lasted me approximately 5 months, but I dropped it once and lost a bunch. Yours will last you longer. I see myself running back to this soon enough!

The Wait Is Over

I've been dying for Spring. I love Fall, and Winter is cool for a month, and then I'm miserable. I didn't even ski or snowboard this year. Which sucks. So what better way to bring in the new season than my beautiful pink pants that I got on sale at Target for $11. I've come to realize that I have way more monochrome pieces in my wardrobe than I thought, but I'm still on the hunt for more! I never wear my brown combat boots anymore so I'm excited to get more use out of them. My worn tattered Troopas need a break. Hope everyone is well!! I'm off to look up more skincare products and eat dark chocolate until my stomach hurts, as per usual. Have a great day!!
